Top Autos ("we," "us") sells, rents and finances vehicles at 5703 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33604. This policy explains what information we collect through topautos.us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you finance a vehicle with us, you'll also receive our separate privacy notice for financing customers at signing.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us through the forms on this site:
- Finance application: name, phone, email, date of birth, home address, housing details, employment, income, the vehicle you're interested in, down payment and trade-in details.
- Trade-in offer: your vehicle's details, name, phone and (if you choose) VIN.
- Rental requests and "Find My Car": name, phone, and the vehicle or dates you're looking for.
We do not ask for your Social Security number online. If it's needed for financing, we collect it in person or by phone.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use advertising trackers on this site.
How we use it
- To contact you about your application, request or questions
- To review your financing application and verify the information you provide
- To prepare trade-in offers and find vehicles you ask about
- To run our business and meet our legal obligations
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run this site and our email (for example, our web host and email provider), who may only use it to provide those services to us
- With credit reporting agencies or others when needed to evaluate or service your financing, and only as allowed by law
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, customers or business
Calls, texts and email
When you submit a form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text or email about your request. We won't send you marketing texts unless you ask for them. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time.
How we protect it
This site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to submitted information is limited to Top Autos staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you've sent us, or to stop contacting you. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal requirements, such as records of a financing contract.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
